A former Navy enlisted man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a child under 14 and will spend the rest of his life in prison, the Kings County District Attorney's Office said Monday.
Jeremy Dale McMurry, 35, originally charged with 22 felonies, pleaded guilty last week to forcing a child under 14 to perform a sex act, aggravated sexual assault on a child under 14, and lewd and lascivious acts on a victim under 14.
In a second case involving a victim 14 or older, he pleaded guilty to contacting a minor with the intent to commit rape by force, and possession of child pornography.
The cases started in June 2011 when the mother of a victim saw an incriminating email and called authorities.
On Feb. 28, McMurry will be sentenced to 105 years to life in prison, the Kings County District Attorney's Office said.
