Two Yosemite High School students were taken into custody after ditching class and egging vehicles at their rival high school Thursday, a Madera County sheriff's spokeswoman said.
Video surveillance captured the two students, ages 17 and 18, both of Oakhurst, pulling into the Minarets High School parking lot in O'Neals and throwing eggs at several vehicles before driving off, spokeswoman Erica Stuart said.
At least three people have reported more than $4,000 in damages to their vehicles, she said.
Both suspects were tracked down and taken into custody Friday. The 17-year old was taken to Madera County Juvenile Hall and the 18-year-old was taken to Madera County Department of Corrections and booked on suspicion of criminal conspiracy and felony vandalism with bail set at $10,000.
