FresnoJanuary 31, 2014

The Save Mart Center has lined up another big-name country act for spring.

This time it's Tim McGraw, who brings his "Sundown Heaven Town" tour to Fresno's Save Mart Center on May 8. Singer-songwriter Cassadee Pope will open.

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday and will range from $39.50-$72.50. They are available online at ticketmaster.com, at select Save Mart Supermarkets or the Save Mart Center box office, or by calling (800) 745-3000.

McGraw has had three consecutive No. 1 hits and received seven Academy of Country Music Awards nominations, including Album of the Year. He has sold more than 40 million albums, won three Grammys, 15 ACM Awards, 14 CMA Awards and 10 AMAs.

After winning season 3 of NBC's "The Voice," Cassadee Pope became one of only two women in the past five years to top the country charts with a debut release. The album was No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums and a top 10 in all-genre Top Albums category last year.
