A 42-year-old man was arrested Thursday on two counts of residential burglary in Visalia in September 2013, Visalia police said.
Police said the burglaries occurred at next-door homes in the 4000 block of West Whitendale Avenue while both homes were being fumigated by a pest control company.
The suspect cut through the fumigation tents and forced his way inside, police said. Stolen property from at least one of the homes was found at the suspect's home during a search by officers.
The suspect was also found with three shaved keys, which are typically used to gain entry into different types of vehicles, police said.
Police said the suspect was booked into the Tulare County Main Jail on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
