West Hills college foundation seeks scholarship applicants

West Hills Community College District Foundation is accepting applications for general scholarships until March 1.

West Hills College Coalinga, West Hills College Lemoore and the North District Center are all offering scholarships for the 2014-15 school year.

The largest is the President's Scholar Program, offered to high school seniors with an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher and four semesters of California Scholarship Federation eligibility. Two years of free tuition will be offered, as well as $250 per semester for books and priority registration.

At this time, all eligible students who apply will receive the scholarship.
