The operators of Fresno's Handy Ride service for the disabled announced a contract agreement with its union drivers and staff.
Keolis Transit America, which took over the Handy Ride operations in February 2013, said its three-year contract with the Amalgamated Transit Workers Union Local 1027 was ratified Monday. Keolis has a staff of 90 on the Handy Ride service, including 67 drivers.
Among the key contract provisions reported by the company is that it will continue to pay 100% of its employees' health insurance premiums.
