Fifth- and sixth-grade students and their parents in Tulare County can visit SCICON, the outdoor school of science and conservation east of Springville, during an open house Sunday.

The Tulare County Office of Education will host the event for students from noon to 4 p.m. Staff from the outdoor school will lead tours and answer questions.

To get to the campus, go east on Highway 190 through Springville and follow the green highway signs to SCICON.

Families can bring picnic lunches to the event.
