In the other TRAC opener, No. 3 Clovis East was torched for 29 points in the fourth quarter, but escaped 71-68 at Clovis behind Dylan Eamigh's 29. Kaleb Anderson had 17 for the Cougars.
Seventh-ranked Bullard opened its defense of the County/Metro Athletic Conference title by routing Madera 69-30 behind Pardeep Gil's 17 points. Madera beat Memorial 52-44 in the CMAC as Mackey West scored 17 points and Ethan Richardson added 13. Jason Lowart countered with 20 for the Panthers. Fourth-ranked Edison, despite six 3-pointers by Sanger's Nathan Barnes, had Jamont Wilson lead 10 scorers with 12 points in a 70-50 CMAC win.

Whitney's Ethan Moore, who scored 22 points but didn't play in the final minute of Monday's 69-68 win over Immanuel in the MLK Showcase at Sequoias because of double leg cramps, came back to score 17 in the Pioneers' 70-60 West Yosemite League victory over Hanford. The Bullpups received 25 points from Dylan Gonzalez.
Dinuba (16-1) rebounded from its first loss — a 52-44 nonleaguer to Monache — by defeating Central Valley Christian 54-51 as Xavier Jones scored 12.
Returning Bee All-Star Erin Pallesi scored 29 points as Selma improved to 14-3 with a 63-38 Central Sequoia League win over Exeter. Defending D-V champion Immanuel rolled past Kingsburg 62-30 in the CSL behind 31 points from Sarah Vasquez.
Mendota, the 2013 D-IV runner-up, received 13 points from Dania Guevara and 12 from Morellia Perez while coasting to a 58-27 West Sierra League victory over Tranquillity.
Christian Cline's hat trick helped No. 9 Bullard power past Sanger 5-0 in the CMAC and set up a showdown at No. 3 Madera at 5 p.m. Thursday. The Coyotes, meanwhile, topped Edison 1-0 on Fernando Gomez's goal in the 80th minute.
David Omi scored twice as No. 4 Clovis North downed Clovis East 2-1 in the TRAC. Drew Walters' goal in the 76th minute — his second of the game — gave Clovis West a 2-2 tie with No. 6 Buchanan.
