A 19-year-old Porterville man is accused of fatally stabbing another man Sunday night in Porterville, police reported.
Police say the slaying took place sometime before 10:35 p.m. in the 300 block of North Henrahan Street, where officers found Larry Martinez, 43, of Porterville unconscious and bleeding from multiple stab wounds to his abdominal area. He later died at Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
Witnesses reportedly told police that Dusty James Gonzalez, 19, was the assailant and that he had left the area with his mother, Candy Gonzalez, 47, also of Porterville.
Candy Gonzalez was arrested as an accessory after she returned to the scene, police said. Dusty Gonzalez was arrested in the 100 block of West Danner Avenue and booked on murder allegations.
