Three men were arrested Saturday on suspicion of stealing a trailer in Visalia, police said.
Officers spotted the stolen trailer being towed about 2 a.m. near Pinkham Street and Noble Avenue and arrested the men, ages 23, 43, and 54. Police found methamphetamine and burglary tools inside the vehicle.
After further investigation, police said, "evidence was located regarding two additional cargo trailers that were previously stolen from within the city of Visalia."
Two of the men were booked into the Tulare County jail on suspicion of auto theft, possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine for sale, conspiracy, and violation of probation. The other man was taken to Kaweah Delta Hospital for treatment to an injury he suffered during the theft.
