Two vehicles ablaze in Visalia parking garage

The Fresno BeeJanuary 14, 2014

Two vehicles caught fire in a Visalia parking garage on Tuesday, with flames completely engulfing one vehicle's engine compartment, and that set a second vehicle on fire, Visalia firefighters said.

The cause of the fire on the third floor of the parking garage at 303 S. Court St. was "electrical in nature," said Battalion Chief Charlie Norman.

Damage is estimated at $16,500, Norman said, and it took 10 firefighters about 10 minutes to extinguish the fire.
