Fresno State has named four finalists for one of the university's top administrative jobs.

The candidates, who are vying for the vice president of student affairs position, will visit Fresno later this month and in February for interviews and public forums with the campus community.

Whoever is picked for the spot takes over for longtime administrator Paul Oliaro, who retired in December.

The candidates are:

Reginald Blaylock, associate vice president for the student services office, San Diego State University.

Kevin Colaner, associate vice president for student affairs, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Frank Lamas, vice president for student affairs and dean of students, University of Texas at Arlington.

Kandy Mink Salas, associate vice president for student affairs, California State University, Fullerton.
