Gas prices in the Valley are creeping up after months of declines, according to AAA of Northern California.
The agency released its monthly gas price report Tuesday.
Prices in Fresno rose 7 cents over the last month to an average $3.58 for a gallon of unleaded. In the Visalia-Tulare-Porterville area, prices rose 12 cents to an average $3.59.
Statewide, prices are up five cents to $3.64 a gallon. Nationally, the average price is $3.31.
AAA representatives say they are not expecting major price spikes in the near future, as there are ample crude oil supplies and demand is typically week in January. In fact, drivers are paying a few cents less than they were last week.
