Police arrested two men in the slaying of a Clovis man found dead in a Visalia neighborhood park, but one was released from jail Monday after no charges were filed.
Ryan Son, 19, and Malcolm Cotharn, 20, both of Visalia, were arrested last week.
Police said both men are connected to the the murder of Eric Osborne, 32, found dead about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at Whitendale Park. Police have released few details.
Son was released Monday because charges were not filed against him.
But prosecutors are reviewing additional information in the case and charges could still be filed, Assistant District Attorney Anthony Fultz said.
Meanwhile, Cotharn remains in jail. Prosecutors must file charges against him by Tuesday or set him free.
