The pedestrian was identified as Keenan Paul, the Fresno County Coroner's Office said Monday afternoon. He was a student at Fresno City College, the school confirmed.

Fresno City College President Tony Cantu said in a statement Monday, "Paul was about to begin his second semester today at Fresno City College."
