Knoblauch dropped a 9-5 decision to Travis Passaro of Eastport-South Manor, N.Y., in the 126-pound final as the Golden Eagles finished with 129 points, 32 ahead of second-place Springfield Central, N.Y.
In third-place matches, Chris Garcia beat Joey Butler of Burnt Hills, N.Y., 10-6 at 145 pounds, and Cortes Morales topped Sam Eagan of Churchville-Chili, N.Y., 6-2 at 220. Tyler Zimmer was seventh at 152 and Chris Lane was eighth at 138 for Clovis West.
Clovis' second varsity team produced champions in Tanner Rice (182 pounds), Tyler Collier (220) and Hexton Corodado (285) while capturing the Redwood Invitational title.
The Cougars finished with 217 points, followed by Dos Palos (194.5) and Redwood (185.5).
Izzac Suarez (145) and Nathan Pimentel (152) won their weight classes for Dos Palos, while Joey Cisneros (113) and Isaiah Torres (126) earned titles for the host Rangers. Cisneros and Pimentel were the outstanding lower and upper weight wrestlers, respectively.
Other champions: Mission Oak's David Campbell (106), Erick Olguin (120), Danny Alvarado (160) and Robert Alvarado (195), Granite Hills' Andy Alvarez (132), Central's Matt Ontiveros (138) and Exeter's Tyler Coker (170).
Armand Molina (132) and Isaac Rangel (182) earned outstanding lower and upper weight wrestler honors, respectively, to lead Firebaugh to the title at the Westside Invitational.
The Eagles, who also had runner-up finished from Marcelino Madriz (106), Nathaniel Vivanco (195) edged Merced 137-135.5 for the team crown.
Reedley's A.J. Rojas (113) and Ivan Espiritu (285), and Sanger's Rosario Sanchez (145) and Chris Moran (171) all won their weight divisions at the CIT in Morro Bay.
