A 47-year-old Fresno woman sustained major injuries in a vehicle collision Tuesday night near southwest Fresno, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash took place just before 6 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said. Everado Gomez, 64, of Fresno was northbound on Fruit Avenue in a Chevy Trailblazer approaching Jensen Avenue and Pedro Mellado, 50, of Caruthers was eastbound on Jensen Avenue in a Nissan Altima.
