Family and friends of David Vasquez, the 22-year-old man who was fatally stabbed Dec. 29, plan to rally at noon Monday in front of the Fresno County Courthouse to urge prosecution of the suspect.

Fresno police arrested Elbert Bustos, 22, the same day of the stabbing. Bustos was released from Fresno County Jail on Tuesday with no charges filed, a jail official said Sunday.

Police Lt. Mark Salazar said a group of people were involved in a dispute at Club Legends in central Fresno that continued in front of a house in the 2100 block of South Matus Avenue in a neighborhood just east of Chestnut Avenue and just south of Senior Citizens Village.
