A fund to help with funeral expenses for a woman who died in a Highway 99 crash last week has been set up by Central Unified teachers at the Educational Employees Credit Union. Contributions should be made out to: Soledad Ochoa Hernandez Memorial Fund, EECU #11913710.

Hernandez, 22, a Fresno State student who worked in the after-school program at Jackson Elementary School, died on New Year's night when an SUV that she and her fiancé were riding in hit a horse that had wandered onto the highway.
