A two-vehicle crash near Dinuba killed a 90-year-old Dinuba woman Friday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The 90-year-old driver -- whose name has not been released, pending notification of her family -- drifted over a double yellow line while traveling eastbound on Avenue 400, just east of Road 56, CHP said.
She collided into the left side of a vehicle driven by Mario Moreno, 30, of Reedley, who was traveling the other direction. The impact caused the vehicles to spin off the road into an orchard.
The 90-year-old was transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital in Visalia, where she died. Moreno sustained minor injuries.
