Construction on the Highway 180 braided ramps project in central Fresno will shut down the eastbound lanes of the freeway and some of its on-ramps for several nights next week.
Contractors will shut down the connector ramps from southbound and northbound Highway 41 onto eastbound 180 starting at 10 p.m. nightly Monday through Thursday. The ramps are scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. each following morning.
Highway 180's eastbound lanes will also be closed in the work area between Highways 41 and 168 starting at 11 p.m. nightly Monday through Thursday. The lanes are scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. each following morning.
Drivers will need to use city streets such as Olive or Belmont avenues as alternatives around the work zone.
