A 31-year-old Visalia man died Sunday following a motorcycle crash east of Visalia, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The victim, who is not identified pending notification of family, was driving east on Avenue 296 at a high speed about 3:45 p.m. the CHP said.
He was unable to negotiate a curve in the road west of Avenue 162. CHP investigators say he locked the brakes to a 2003 Suzuki and veered off the roadway.
He was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
