Tulare County firefighters are investigating a blaze at a Three Rivers catering hall, Chief Mike Green said.

The fire was reported at 1:16 a.m. in the White Horse Inn, 42975 Sierra Drive.

When firefighters arrived they found smoke coming from the rear of the hall.

The fire was under control about 4 a.m., Green said.

The White Horse Inn opened in 1966 and served as a restaurant until about 15 years ago when it became a food preparation location for a catering business and also served as a hall for special events.

No injuries were reported and investigators remained on the scene at 8 a.m. There was no immediate word on cause or damages.
