Health insurance clinic/basketball tournament is Saturday in Fresno

Building Healthy Communities/Boys and Men of Color is sponsoring a basketball tournament and an Affordable Care Act health insurance enrollment event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Zimmerman Boys and Girls Club, 540 N. Augusta St. in Fresno.

The 3-on-3 basketball tournament is free to all teams. First-place winners each win a $150 gift card and second-place winners each get a $75 gift certificate to Foot Locker.

Certified enrollment counselors will be available to help enroll individuals and families for health insurance.

To apply for insurance, people will need:

• Photo identification,

• Social Security numbers

• Proof of current address (utility bill, rent receipt, etc.).

• Income verification for the last 30 days,

• Verification of immigration status.
