The Fresno BeeDecember 12, 2013

It appears the big chill is over for now.

The National Weather Service is forecasting overnight lows in the mid-30s for the rest of the week, following a series of sub-freezing temperatures in the San Joaquin Valley.

Thursday's high in the Fresno area is expected to be 59 degrees, with a low tonight of 35. On Friday, forecasters see a high of 58 and a low of 36.
