An attic fire in Coalinga on Wednesday afternoon caused $15,000 worth of damage, but no one was injured, the fire department said.
A family of four, including two children, discovered the fire in the attic of their home on the 200 block of West Roosevelt Street about 4:20 p.m. The family quickly got out of the house before calling the fire department.
