University Preparatory High School, a free public high school in Visalia, is accepting applications for students in grades 9-12 for spring 2014.

An informational meeting will be held for future students and parents Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. in the Mariposa Building on the College of the Sequoias Visalia Campus.

Students attending this high school will take COS college classes and accumulate a significant number of college units while they are still in high school, spokesman Robert Herman said.
