Lindsay home engulfed by fire

Tulare County firefighters handled three fires Sunday night, including two homes. 

The first was a home in Lindsay near Avenue 232 and Road 201. The fire department received the call about 5 p.m. and found the house engulfed by fire upon arrival. The family was displaced by the fire, which was contained by about 10:30 p.m.

The second fire was at a home in Strathmore on Road 228. The fire heavily damaged a garage with a trailer that was attached to the rear side of the house. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The third fire was of a single-car garage on Road 208 in Terra Bella. Firefighters responded to the fire at 9:25 p.m. and contained the fire within the hour.
