Fresno and Visalia Realtor associations welcome new 2014 leaders

The Fresno and Visalia real estate associations are celebrating the Christmas holiday and kicking off the new year early with the installation of their 2014 leadership teams.

The Fresno Association of Realtors welcomed new president Liz Kuchinski of Century 21 C. Watson during a luncheon at Pardini’s Catering & Banquets on Wednesday. Kuchinski replaces John Shamshoian, owner of Realty Concepts.

Other officers include: Colleen Wiginton, president-elect; Jared Martin, treasurer; Ron Shapazian, multiple listing service chairman.

Directors are: John Carey Jr., Sandy Darling, Susan Davis, Lynn Heintz, Joan Jolly, Kristy Henry, Ken Neufeld, Patrick Prince, Jim Whitlach and Shamshoian.

In Visalia, the Tulare County Association of Realtors also gathered on Wednesday to install its new board of directors led by Chris Barbeau, broker associate at RE/MAX All Estates REALTORS. Barbeau takes over for Mark Avedian of Avedian Properties.

Other officers include: Scott Ellis, president-elect; Avedian, 2013 past president; Darcy Staberg, secretary/treasurer; and Ed Morton, multiple listing service chairman.

Directors are: Kathy Hagin, Dena Clark, Stephanie Collins, Borna Binesh, Craig Smith, Melva Dixon and Matt Thompson.

Mimi Ruby, the association’s 2012 president, is the agency’s executive director.
