More than 21,000 Pacific Gas & Electric Co. customers were affected by storm-related power outages in Fresno and Clovis since Wednesday morning.

PG&E reported that as of 10:15 a.m., the utility has 407 customers whose power is out in 34 separate outages. Most of the outages are related to the wet weather.

The largest outage reportedly includes 79 customers east of Clovis in an area bounded by Temperance, McCall, Tulare and Dakota avenues. Crews are at work in the area to fix that outage, which began shortly after 9 a.m.

At various points over the past 24 hours, about 3,500 customers in Clovis and 17,000 customers in Fresno experienced power outages, PG&E spokesman Denny Boyles said.
