Fresno ceremony to swear in new citizens

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service will conduct a naturalization ceremony for 895 new U.S. citizens at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Fresno Convention Center's Valdez Hall, 700 M St.

Jose Antonio Ramirez, city manager of Livingston and former city manager of Firebaugh and Orange Cove, will address the new citizens and Fresno field office manager Jonathan Crawford will administer the oath.
