First 5 Fresno County is celebrating its 15th anniversary with two hours of free ice skating for kids Friday evening on the Fulton Mall rink in downtown Fresno.

The offer is from 6-8 p.m. for children ages 5 and under, the agency said in an announcement.

First 5 Fresno County is an independent agency that seeks to bolster health and education programs for children from birth to age 5 and their families. It's funded by California's tobacco tax and has a budget this year of around $11 million.

The rink is at Mariposa Plaza. Parking is free after 5 p.m.
