Two food drives are planned in Fresno this weekend:

  • The Fresno Community Food Bank and radio station 105.1 The Blaze will come together for the "Stuff-a-Truck Weekend" food drive Friday through Sunday.

Food donations can be made between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day at the Walmart Super Center at 1185 Herndon Ave.

  • Catholic Charities will host its fifth annual food drive in River Park Shopping Center on Saturday and Sunday.

The organization said it helps close to 3,000 families a month with emergency food, clothing and public services. From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day a Catholic Charities truck will set up in the old Borders parking lot at the intersection of El Paso and Blackstone avenues.
