Two men who injured a homeowner during a burglary are sought by the Madera County Sheriff's Department.
Spokeswoman Erica Stuart said the incident happened Saturday afternoon on Kensington Drive, a mile west of Road 36 1/2.
The homeowner, 64, was in a shed when he saw a man walking out of his garage with a compressor. He chased the man and tried to stop the driver of an SUV that was speeding away.
Instead, he was dragged about 10 feet before falling to the ground. The SUV then plowed through the homeowner's back fence and sped away. Both suspects are white males in their mid-20s to early 30s.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers and (559) 498-STOP.
