TV briefs: "Sheriff Callie's Wild West"

See it early: In a first for the Disney/ABC Television Group, a series will premiere on its and the WATCH Disney Junior app for smartphones and tablets. "Watch" service. The animated "Sheriff Callie's Wild West," the first Western for preschoolers, will be available beginning Nov. 24.

"Sheriff Callie's Wild West" stars the voice of Mandy Moore as Callie, a Calico cat sheriff who keeps the peace in her frontier town of Nice and Friendly Corners using her magic lasso and cowgirl know-how.

Are you game?: The game show, "Celebrity Name Game," where celebrities team with contestants to identify famous names, including actors, singers, athletes, pop culture figures, politicians and even cartoon characters, is scheduled for a fall 2014 launch. It will be hosted by "The Late, Late Show's" Craig Ferguson.

A look back: The death of Anna Nicole Smith and the subsequent custody battle over her daughter Dannielynn made headlines around the globe. Now, six years later, Dannielynn's father, Larry Birkhead, opens up to E! in "Life After Anna Nicole: The Larry & Dannielynn Story" about where his life is now and the decisions he must make regarding his family's future.

The special features day-in-the-life footage of Birkhead and Dannielynn, both in the spotlight and in more private settings at home in Kentucky with his family. Cameras also follow Birkhead as he and Dannielynn travel to California for yet another court hearing involving Anna Nicole's estate.
