Trick or treat? If conservative belief rewards hard work, then government rewards for corporate campaign donors should be forbidden because they result in non-competitive government contract bidding, bribery and laziness. Unfortunately, the masters of government contracts for favorite lobbyists, corporations, and tax breaks for the wealthy are Republicans. They master fooling low-income working people into voting for them. When you find out that the politicians who claim to represent you are really representing multi-millionaires, then you have to psychologically transfer your conscious or subconscious humiliation acquired from being exploited as a worker, consumer and voter into an easier hatred of people socially underneath you, for example, claiming that ethnics are the ones who are bad for America. That should make you feel better.
Tricked without a treat? Donations from billionaire petroleum brothers to "foundations" specializing in propaganda for fixing voting registration laws and elections of state legislators result in tricking ignorant audiences of television and radio networks owned by millionaires into voting against themselves. The adorable rich fix the investment markets and make money off of average investors as they rip off the taxpayers.
Do other democratic countries' informed citizens think that U.S. citizens are evil fools or just fools?
