A Visalia man who's been under investigation by Tulare County law enforcement for months is under arrest for allegedly possessing meth, firearms and ammunition.
Arthur Ramos was arrested at a gas station on Thursday after county and local police searching a home Ramos frequents found 750 grams of meth, 100 rounds of .45 ammunition, a .25 caliber handgun and a .45 caliber Glock handgun stolen from a Reedley home.
Police also found more than $4,000 in cash at another home Ramos frequents.
Officials say they'd been investigating Ramos on suspicion of dealing narcotics. Over the course of the probe, they got a search warrant for two homes associated with him.
Ramos was booked in the Tulare County Jail and is being charged with drug possession, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, violation of parole and possession of stolen property.
He was still in custody Friday morning. His bail was set at $250,000, but officials say he'll remain detained because he's suspected of violating conditions of his parole.
