Principal Jeremy Shipman of Terronez Middle School in southeast Fresno paraded in front of the whole school Monday wearing a Scottish kilt, making good on his promise to students to wear a dress as motivation for scholarship fundraising.

Students hit the goal (with the help of an extra $400 thrown in from staff).

Monday Shipman led the marching band, color guard and cheerleaders around the school campus at 2300 S. Willow Ave. to celebrate fundraising for Fresno Unified School District's Scholarship Fund.
