A 24-year-old man received two small cuts during a stabbing in Visalia on Saturday night, police said.
Officers were called to the 700 block of North Floral Street around 11:20 p.m. to investigate reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, officers found a man who said he was walking in the area of Floral and Race Avenue when two unknown men approached him. Words were exchanged and one of the suspects stabbed him in the upper torso causing a small cut, police said. The other suspect also stabbed the man in the abdomen causing a small cut.
The victim was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center where he was treated and released for non life-threatening injuries. The case is under investigation.
