The Fresno Bee article on Oct. 10 discussed the problem of no fuel for the new F-15 fighter jets at the California Air National Guard Base in Fresno. That means less training flights and war games training.
The deafening noise pollution has let up a bit. What joy! Now the very loud noise doesn't harm our quality of life. I have measured the noise with decibel readings over 90 and 100 plus. We live in the Fashion Fair area.
Before this no gas problem, the F-16s -- which are being replaced by the F-15s -- would fly over thousands of people in our Fresno city six to 10 times per day. Would you like that noise over your house?
