Albert Einstein said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Curtis Sisk's Oct. 10 letter is a perfect example of the debt-raising insanity in Washington. I must remind Mr. Sisk that our government has been without a budget for the entire time Mr. Obama has been in the Oval Office.
What was "corrected" the last 10 times the debt limit was raised? Government spending is out of control, and all the Democrats want is a bigger credit card. We have almost $7 trillion more in debt than when Obama took office, and he still wants more debt. Impeachment is sorely needed.
Our elected officials, from the president on down, need to be held accountable and prosecuted for their total lack of fiscal stewardship.
On a similar note, why is Social Security always going broke but welfare never seems to lack more money?
