A Bulldog gang member was wounded Friday evening during a shooting in central Fresno, police said.
Officers found the 23-year-old man shot in his right elbow when they arrived on the scene about 8:50 p.m. Police said the man was uncooperative, stating that he was walking on Fruit Avenue just south of Clinton Avenue when he was shot for an unknown reason. The man did not provide any further information, police said.
Officers said they could not locate a crime scene or any witnesses involving the shooting.
The man was reported in stable condition at Community Regional Medical Center.
