Two Hanford women were jailed on suspicion of drug possession for sale and trying to avoid arrest, police said Friday.
About 4 p.m. Thursday, a narcotics K-9 team and probation officers searched a home in the 500 block of East Sycamore Drive and found hypodermic needles and several grams of methamphetamine, including 6.2 grams inside a fake Monster Energy drink can with a screw top.
One woman who gave officers a false name was wanted on a no-bail warrant, and the other hid from police.
They were booked into the Kings County jail.
