Two men were wounded at a southeast Fresno apartment complex Thursday night in a shooting that police say may have been caused by an argument over a woman.
Fresno police officers found a wounded man in his 30s lying in the parking lot about 8:30 p.m. at the Cedar Creek Apartments in the 4800 block of East Lane Avenue.
Police said a group of men were partying outside an apartment when one man sought a woman in the apartment. A fight erupted between the group of men, and one man shot multiple times and fled the area, police said.
The man found in the parking lot was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening. A second victim, who police did not identify, was brought to the hospital a short time later, and was also said to be in stable condition.
Gun shell casings and beer cans were found outside the apartment, police said. No suspects have been arrested.
