A registered sex offender was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for repeatedly soliciting teens to get inside his car near a high school in Fresno, the Fresno County District Attorney's Office said.
On four occasions, Kevin Durane Glenn, 50, approached two 16-year-old victims while still in his vehicle and attempted to persuade them to get inside the car, the district attorney's office said. Both victims refused.
Glenn drove away when confronted by an adult and was later detained by campus police, the district attorney's office said. On all occasions, he attempted to persuade the teens just after classes were dismissed for the day.
Glenn, who has previous convictions for child molestation, will be eligible for parole after 16 years, the DA's office said.
