Gas prices fell a smidge -- 2 cents in Fresno and a cent in the Visalia-Tulare-Porterville area -- over the last month, but are expected to keep falling.
AAA of Northern California released its monthly gas price report Tuesday.
Prices averaged $3.81 for a gallon of unleaded gasoline in Fresno and $3.83 in the Visalia-Tulare-Porterville area.
Nationwide, prices have fallen 21 cents in the last month to $3.35. In California, they fell 6 cents to $3.85.
AAA expects California prices to continue to drop as the state has a sufficient supply of gasoline, demand is flat and gas stations begin to sell the cheaper blend of winter gasoline.
Prices are dropping despite the price of crude oil, which has remained above $100 a barrel for three months.
