"Writer's Market 2014" by Robert Lee Brewer (ed.): Among the tips this trusted guide for authors provides: how to land a six-figure deal, how to earn income from blogging and how to find work as a ghostwriter.
"101 Power Crystals: The Ultimate Guide to Magical Crystals, Gems, and Stones for Healing and Transformation" by Judy Hall: Each crystal and its associated qualities is presented with a full page photograph.
Basic Sewing for Adults: Learn to mend your rips, fix loose buttons and alter seams in just five sessions. Bring your mending materials as our volunteer instructor teaches basic, no-machine sewing. Tuesdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Gillis Branch Library. Space is limited; call (559) 225-0140.
Glue & Go Costumes Workshop: With readily available supplies and basic tools such as scissors and a glue gun, you can create unique, oversized, eye-catching costumes! Holly Cleeland, author of "Glue & Go Costumes for Kids" shows how. Space is limited. First-come, first-served basis.
