A 75-year-old woman died Wednesday afternoon in Visalia after a traffic accident believed to be caused by a medical problem, police said.
The woman was driving east on Oak Avenue just east of West Street about 1:30 p.m. when her Honda Accord hit an unoccupied vehicle on the side of the street, police said. The woman, who was the only person in the car, was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center and pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police said they believe an unknown medical problem was the cause of the collision, but the crash is still under investigation.
