Ex-Clovis West High star Michael Weaver takes second, leads Cal to team title

Cal ran away to a 30-stroke victory Tuesday at the Saint Mary's Invitational, and Fresno State tied for sixth among 19 teams at the Bayonet and Black Horse courses in Monterey.

The Golden Bears totaled a 10-under 854, led by individual runner-up Michael Weaver (Clovis West High). Oregon was second and Fresno State was at 300-294-296—890, with Troix Tonkham sharing sixth.
