A pallet fire in a Visalia industrial park early Sunday is considered suspicious, Visalia Fire Department officials say.
When they arrived at United Wholesale Lumber, 8009 W. Doe Ave., they found stacks of wooden pallets burning.
Employees from the company helped firefighters by using forklifts to move the pallets. The fire was contained in about 15 minutes.
Investigators say the fire was suspicious because the business was closed at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is not known.
Damage to about 800 pallets is estimated as $12,000.
No injuries were reported.
